Thank you for considering A Massage Studio for your next Crested Butte massage. We have been massaging full-time in Crested Butte since 1989. We like to think of ourselves as different from regular massage for many reasons. First, you are in the hands of experienced professionals, Jennifer Rose and Bill Smith.

Between the two of us, we have 42 years of massage experience. But we don't just rest on our laurels. We continue to evolve in our careers. Jennifer continues to take classes, currently focusing on Ortho-Bionomy. Jennifer has completed almost 1000 hours of classes in Ortho-Bionomy which will make her an Advanced Practioneer.

Recent classes that Bill has taken have focused on Active Isolated Stretching. He is also an assistant teacher in this modality for the founder of AIS (Aaron Mattes), as well as teaching AIS classes locally several times a week. Please see class schedule page for more info.

Jennifer also specializes in prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, LA STONE Hot Stone Therapy, visceral manipulation, and reflexology. She is a very nurtering massage therapist and will leave you feeling balanced physically.

Bill is a certified neuromuscular therapist (St. John Method), and an ACE certified personal trainer. Other specialities include deep tissue massage, orthopedic and sports massage, and lymphatic drainage. His training has focused on relieving pain, both acute and chronic.

Perhaps most important however is A Massage Studio's desire to MEET YOUR INDIVIDUAL NEEDS. On some days you may be in need of a relaxing massage. At other times you may want to work on recovering from an injury or receive help in getting ready for or recovering from a race.

A Massage Studio is conveniently located at 427 Belleview Avenue in downtown Crested Butte. We specialize in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal Massage, La Stone Hot Stone Therapy, Ortho-Bionomy, and Active Isolated Stretching. We are both certified massage therapists(CMT) as well as hoding many other certifications.

We also offer portable massage to your Crested Butte vacation rental. After a day of skiing in Crested Butte, or hiking, bike riding, fishing, or just unwinding, a massage will take you to the next level of relaxation. We arrive with massage table, sheets and lotion. All you need to do is lay on the table, relax and enjoy!
